The Oglala Sioux Stand Up for Choice
This is the beginning of what could be a very interesting line of action.Cecilia Fire Thunder, president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe at Pine Ridge, SD, says that she is going to stand up to Gov. Rounds' ban of all abortion in the state of South Dakota.
The tribe is talking about inviting PP to open a clinic on the reservation. It's an interesting thought. Since the reservations of the various tribes are sovereign nations, they can make their own laws.

Three cheers for this brave woman. What would happen if each and every one of us who support choice thought about what action we could personally take to protect the right of women to make their own decisions about abortion?
